Phoebe, my pretty princess of a bunny died on Sunday night. She was lethargic and not breathing well so we rushed her to Dove Lewis- the emergency clinic I was hoping I'd never have to take a pet to. After several hours we cried and decided to euthanize her and then cried some more. It was really sad but best for her.She's a german angora and I have tons of her fur safely stored away that I've been wanting to spin. You can see my first attemps at spinning her fur here. I though I had lots of time to learn and lots of angora fiber to proctice with since she kept growing more. Now that I don't have her anymore I don't want to waste all her fur learning to spin it.
Is there anyone out there that can spin angora and would do that for me? For a price, of course. I just want some mittens with a Phoebe cuff or maybe a little mini-Phoebe to snuggle up with.

Oh Casey I am so sorry that you lost your beautiful bunny. I do hope that you will be able to make something out of her fur.
So sorry to hear about Phoebe - her fur will be even more special now & I'm sure it will be a great project that you make with it.
My heart goes out to you. I know exactly how you feel because this weekend I lost our beloved cat, Bitter. He was caught by a coyote early July 1st. I had just taken portraits of him last week. It is so sad when these little creatures who trust us so are gone. My sympathy to you.

I'm sorry to hear about your bunny. My hamster just died a few weeks ago while I was gone for work, but I'm sure it wasn't nearly the same thing. Hopefully the fur will turn into something beautiful.
I just found your site and wanted to let you know I am sorry about your loss of Phoebe! It's never easy to lose a fur child!!!
